• Messages You Submit for Analysis: When you paste or type a message into Velvet for analysis, that text is sent to our secure server for AI processing. We do not store these messages after the analysis is complete. Messages are processed in real-time and discarded immediately after generating a response.
• Usage Data: We store a local count of how many free analyses you have used. This data is stored only on your device using local storage and is never transmitted to our servers.
• Subscription Information: If you subscribe to Velvet Pro, your purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location.
• We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
• We do not create user accounts or profiles.
• We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.

How We Use Information

The messages you submit are used solely to generate AI-powered analysis and response suggestions. This processing occurs on our secure server and messages are not retained after the response is delivered to your device.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenAI API: To process and analyze messages you submit. OpenAI's data usage policies apply to this processing. OpenAI does not use data submitted through the API to train their models.
• Apple App Store: For processing in-app purchases and subscriptions. Apple's privacy policy governs these transactions.
• Vercel: For hosting our API server. Vercel's privacy policy applies to server-side processing.

Data Security

All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect data during transmission.

Data Retention

We do not retain any user-submitted messages. Analysis requests are processed in real-time and the input data is discarded immediately after generating a response. No message history is stored on our servers.

Children's Privacy

Velvet is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
